hii, im trying to make one but im a bit confused with the 8th row, so i just want to make it clear. so we have to increase at the beginning of the 2nd, 5fth, and 8th patch??

Hi. Yes. You increase on each of these rows following the printed pattern I show in the video. This adds a slight angle to the sides of the hat for a better look and fit. 26:46 shows where on these rows you need to add a stitch '*' hope that helped :)
