Poor thing is so skinny and emotionally starved for affection. She needs constant touch!The way she draws up her legs and sucks her thumb excessively show emotional neglect and lack of enough attention. Baby monkeys are supposed to be held as much as possible. In the wild, they cling to their mothers 24/7 for months. This close contact is vital for their emotional development. They will not be able to be confident and self assured in the future without this bond in the beginning.

She will sleep better and longer for having fresh air. Also let her go in sink let her move herself in the water. She must start doing things for herself to help build up her core muscles. Otherwise you will be carrying a very lazy monkey all day every day. She must learn. If you can't cut her nails...bite them. Same as human mom does to her baby....... she needs some small hand size building bricks. Coloured rings. Have to stimulate her otherwise lol she start tearing up your house. I wish we could have these as pets in the United States. We have spider monkeys that have become very popular, the problem is, people don’t realize just how big and strong spider monkeys can get. They stand 3’ tall and can be very aggressive, much more so that this stump tail Macaque even as an adult. Capuchin monkeys have also become very popular in the United States. These monkeys don’t get too big at all. I think as adults Capuchins are about the same height and weight as stump tail macaques are. Again, Capuchin monkeys also can become very aggressive and bite, especially as adults. My point is, when someone watches a video from this country they automatically assume abuse. This is not true in some cases. I worked with a woman that grew up in Cambodia. I asked her about monkeys there. She told me her family had 2 pigtail macaques, raised them as babies, treated as family members also. Let them come and go as they please but they never left their property. They kept them until they aged and eventually died some 20 years later. I believe the reason we don’t see these stump tails in the US is mainly they aren’t tested on like long tail and pigtail or rhesus macaques and of course they are considered endangered. Still, I would adopt a little stump tail or a pigtail macaque in a minute if I could. They are just precious.

Après cela, papa a donné à Kyo des médicaments selon les instructions du médecin. Kyo va déjà mieux. C'est formidable que papa puisse s'occuper du petit singe Kyo.
