Love watching your videos as a student in Nancy! I am originally from Lyon and I must say I was not a fan from Nancy at first sight, but I came to love it with time and I think your videos bring out very well the little joys and beauties of the city! So thanks, I really enjoy these :)

When I was younger (a couple of decades ago, LOL), trendy cafés in Nancy were (in no specific order) : ➡ "Le Ch'timi" place Saint-Epvre ➡ "L'Académie (aka "L'Aca"), cours Lépold, ➡ "Le Garden", rue Raymond Poincaré ➡ "La Taverne de l'Irlandais", rue Mazagran ➡ "L'Embassy" rue Stanislas ➡ "Le Commerce", place Stanislas ➡ "Le Foy", place Stanislas ➡ "Le Jean Lamour" aka "Jean Lam' ", place Stanislas ➡ "L'Excelsior", rue Mazagran And some others I can't remember right now...

My question is a bit of a stretch to link to coffee shops, but people often read while there, so....? Would you recommend 'best books' or 'must-reads' about France? I'm an avid reader, I will be visiting France in May, and I'd like to know much more before coming. Can you recommend a best book regarding general French history? A must-read about 20th/21st century France? A must-read contemporary French novel? As a history buff, would you know of a best book regarding France in the immediate aftermath of WW2? I just finished Graham Robb's "France: An Adventure History" and I don't know if it was the best place for me to start. Any suggestions that you have would be most welcome (or perhaps even a full video topic?!).
