I had a ferret named Weasy. Because of the giggle sound she made. She was precious! I had to have her put down though. She was 10 and not eating much and sleeping a ton. She got really thin and weak. She was naked due to a prior condition. I loved her and still do. Not a day goes by when I don't think of her. She crossed that Rainbow Bridge on St. Patrick's Day 2003. I never celebrate that day... ever. I miss her far too much!!

They are a LOT of work. More than cats or dogs.You also have to do *massive* research before taking them. True, they are also awesome-as loyal and energetic as dogs and as independent as cats and when trained properly they seem to be one of the pest pets around. Quite expensive though :/ We are in the beginning of our long journey in getting one with my bf.
