DIY: How to make a cute Hello Kitty out of yarn.
You can use any yarn, however, the thinner the thread, the more turns you need to do for the density of the pompom, so I like to use yarn with a more voluminous thread, it is easier to work with it.
Eyes, nose, bow and mustache made of felt pieces.
Glued together with hot glue.

Your work is very nice, but it would be more useful if you at least put in the video or in the description box how many laps more or less you give it in your hand or the cardboard that you sometimes use, you would help a lot those who follow you and want to do it as a project with your kids or business or hobby, thank you.

I understand this video, and comments were 2 plus years ago. With that being said….Just like the other comments above mine about needing to know how many turns you do to make sure you get it correctly. I know it’s probably not a huge deal to everyone that’s gonna try to make this beautiful Hello kitty doll. I’m not artistic at all when it comes to drawing, painting, sculpting, or any other kind of big time art stuff. Plus I have adult ADHD, and I’m not taking any kind of medication for it right now. So for me to sit in the same spot making something that takes time, and patience. To me that’s something right there! To be completely honest with everyone….Most of the time when I try some of these pompom things (even when I’m following along with the video step by step) my stuff still ALWAYS turns out looking pitiful/awful!! I have thought about giving up more than a couple times. LoL😆😉

@@sebikatamang877 felt is a cloth like fabric typically bought in sheets and comes in all colors but you could use any heavy fabric , ribbon or even paper to make her face and bow

In addition to the weight of the yarn, can you please post how many turns around (or wraps) of the yarn you use to make the initial pom-poms? That would be super helpful in order to get the correct proportions for the different size pom-poms that are used. Unless I can count on the video, and it isn't sped up for time, I just guess now and it rarely turns out proportional! Thanks and I LOVE your work!
