My dolls will LOVE this! I remember, how I begged and begged for a little house for feeding the birds when I was small, it became the vacation- house for my little dolls and the lived in it under the Christmas Tree in the deeep woods and enjoyed life and a healthjy meal from the trees needles, haha. So I know, they (of course I still own them!) will definetely be over the moon!

To hinge the doors I use a tube glued to the door with a wire passed through it and glued to the inside wall. I make things for kiddies to play with (toy soldiers, space bases etc) and working doors always go down well. I make the buildings from 2mm card and add a paper wrapper printed on the computer for the basic shell with extra bits glued over that to give it depth, so for the doors I can add a printed 'door' wrapper that covers the tube. If you do not want to add such a wrapper you can buy brass wire and tube down to about 0.5mm thick, which could be glued into a groove in the edge of the door (or into the wall with the ends of the wire glued to the door). Other sources include the plastic stem of a cotton bud for the tube and piano wire or a large paper clip for the wire. Enjoying your videos, thanks for posting

Hi, Loved your video! I would be very, very grateful if you would attempt a grandfather clock in 1/12th scale. I have seen one in a dollhouse that used a battery operated watch as the face so the GF Clock actually told the time! I am more interested in making the cabinet itself though. Thank you so much for taking time to consider my request!
