Yeah it bothers me too. However, I remember when my sister was born (I was 2.5) my mom had me hold my arms out and she helped me hold my sister. We have a picture and I now realize my mom was basically just holding her for me. But dang were we cute.

Calm down Karen. He was on the bed, it was off a toddlers legs. Not a full grown human leg. The head support is useful so when they don't flop down violently or back violently. So that doesn't apply.
