The V LIVE where Soobin talks about their relationship before debut is really underrated, like, they literally are the closest among the members and not a lot of people notices that, I'm so thankful about that V LIVE because like a lot of people I had no idea how close these two are and their amazing relationship when they were trainees (I mean, Soobin literally said he only had Hueningkai and he was okay because he didn't had the need to find someone else *crying* )... I mean who wouldn't? 😂 The bond Sookai share is so special and honestly hard to find... They are soulmates/gums. I mean I have noticed countless times how awkward/cringe/jelly the other 3 (mostly Yeongyu duo) get at times and it's quite understandable honestly... If I was there with them I would feel left out and kinda jelly too at times lol I mean Soobin himself has said before that Sookai were together since their pre-debut days(actually he said that back then they only had each other) while they got to meet and form a bond with the other members after the debut group was announced(who would end up as final members) which was almost a year before their debut (when the 5 five of them went to the USA to take dance lessons and started learning more things about each other).

I'm asking this out of curiosity so please don't feel attacked, how did soobin become the leader? I mean I thought it was because he gets along with every member, but he just said that at start he only wanted to be with hueninkai cause he's introverted (totally related) so how did someone who find hard to be with other person became the leader? It's okay, no worries. According to them they voted for him to be the leader. I think he realized that being an idol he needed to open up and work with other people since he'll be a public figure. I think this is also why he's having a hard time sometimes because it is draining since he's introverted.

As far as I can remember, i think it's because Soobin was somehow in the middle of the members age (if you know what I mean), just like in BTS, RM was in the middle of hyung and maknae line. Maybe that's how BigHit handle their groups, having a leader that can easily reached out by all the members.
