I was there, in 2016, visiting my daughter who lived in County Waterford, at the time. Found out our last name is big in Limerick. But we stayed in Adare for a few nights.We walked to the pubs at night from our B&B because of the traffic.

Bunratty castle is wonderful! I went there a few years ago. I have the dubious honour of falling down the spiral staircase there, but got away with just bruises, luckily. Looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Hoping to go back to Ireland next year. 💖

75 years old living in Goldsboro NC USA. Traveled to Ireland in 2005, loved the country. Reminds me of NC. We flew into Shannon and then had to take 2 different buses but for the life of me can’t remember what town. Just remember it was 2 am when we got to our hotel. On a bus tour and had to be up and out by 7 am!!!! Would love for you to show us around Dublin to see what I remember from there. Happy I found you. Didn’t realize you are a published author. Oh Thank you Catherine for this video. I spent time in Adare, we stayed at the cottage with the green door at 30:39 and drove everywhere! Best vacation ever, traffic wasn't too bad, (Friday was busier) but we met so many wonderful people. We also stayed at the Bunratty Inn down the road from the castle, I highly recommend it! Ahhh I wish I had known you were coming to Limerick I would have brought my book (it is already signed ) but I would love to have met you. I love watching your videos, you are so natural, funny, informative just brilliant. Maybe someday you could do a workshop in my studio in Limerick😃😃

I studied abroad in Ireland in spring 2020, and this video brings back so many memories! I spent my birthday in Adare, which also happened to be when Ireland closed everything 😭 Love watching my your videos.

I look forward to your videos I love what you’ve done with your home and garden you’re s star I’ve just watched this and really enjoyed it my granddad hailed from Limerick and by way of Dublin he came to England met my grandma and the rest I’d history I have been to Dublin but never Limerick but after watching you I want to go there see if there’s any of my relatives still living there… mind you my sister and I did that in Dublin… so many O’Briens!! Oh and I love your book I have s signed copy straight from the publisher… keep on doing what you do

Hey Congratulations with your book. Well done Years since I was in Bunratty castle, years since I saw “jar”- hot water bottles on the beds in the cottages West of Ireland beautiful, but you really have to go to west Cork …. Best in world😂🌼🥰🌸
