This is baby Janna, Gladdis' baby girl. This was filmed almost 2 years ago. I think her mom was in an argument in that tree and Janna was in the middle, thus that injury to her arm.

This baby will recover better without any human intervention!! They have an amazing ability to heal and mums milk is full of antibodies that fight infections and helps them heal much faster as it helps to build their immune system!! Plus mum will keep the injury clean and her saliva acts like an antibiotic and antiseptic!! This baby will heal quickly and without any trauma if left alone with mum and it’s troop

@@HelenBrown-ed6sl as Helen has explained, (despite how for many whom might find it difficult to believe).. those who’ve viewed several of these macaque vids will know that whether its one of the infants or an adult who’ve acquired an open gash/ wound, and one which IS comparable to the one seen above.. it’s quite surprising/ shocking even.. how in another vid just a short time later one can see how well the same monkey is healing.. (w/o it having been taken to a vet) Thanks Helen for sharing the info.. 😉👍🙂🫶🙏

Do not remove any baby from its mother for such a small wound! It would do more damage because it would not relieve the type of aid the mother would provide! He milk would dry up and it wouldn't be wale to nurse when it got back, and the mother might not take him back at all!! Just like Angel did with Ale and she was left an orphan with no mother or troop! God know where she was dumped after that debacle!! You people need to think, and not be so careless with your words! This baby will be right as rain in a week so keep you mitts off him! When Blaze returned to his mom, he was a terrible mess, and his mom didn't know what to do with his whiney clingyness. He wasn't the same when he came back! The VOs need to stop taking them for more than a couple hours if its bad enough to warrant stitches, but I dont even that is needed since the mothers saliva would heal it faster.
