Anyway, to answer your comment, the cactoy is clearly mimicking the baby, which the baby finds unsettling for the same reasons that many people fear the uncanny valley - which, if you want to read about it, you could start by reading the works of Masahiro Mori, the roboticist who coined the term. Mimicry is terrifying to humans (and all mammals), because it's a tactic of predators - as a baby, as soon as you realise that the cactus is not the same species as your parent, it will appear frightening.
