If you live in the states, almost any 99 cent shop will have those scented beads. Look for "crystal air fresheners" or "scented crystal beads" in the air freshener department. I have multiple jars of these at home and they're honestly so fun to play with and also smell amazing!

this just reminded me of the birthday gift I made for my twin: a "boba milk tea" lucky stars bottle with jasmine scent. after making the stars I shook a handful at a time in a little plastic plate with a drop or two of essential oil. She told me opens the bottle whenever she needs a quick happy pick-me-up whenever she's busy. :)

Scented soap will not be strong enough to "freshen" the air, it's barely enough to smell good in the bottle.. if you use a few squirts of perfume or essential oils in your water mix, it would work much better.. also NOTE these cork plugs on those glass bottles are not air tight or waterproof so you can use it to diffuse lightly a strong perfume in a room (as the water will evaporate through it over time) or? if you actually want to use it as a lid, to transport it on the go, coat the bottom with some clear nail polish or hot glue..

Very cute! If you want the continued smell, just add lace to the top with some ribbon. Use instead of the cork. This prevents them from spilling out if tipped over. Add water as it dries out. I've heard them called "Smelly Jellies".

Hi! Yes, if you can dissolve it into water and the smell sticks around then it will work! Since hand sanitizer is usually alcohol based, I'm not sure if that will evaporate quickly or not

Another little trick you can use for the fragrance in these instead of scented soap is the fabric softener crystals. Snuggle, Bounce, or Downey brand. Take a small amount of the crystals and dissolve them in warm water. They will make a strong scented liquid. (You can also make your own DIY Fabreeze type linen-room freshener spray by doing this.) Just soak the Orbeez in the liquid and they should smell ten times stronger and hold their scent longer too.
