The original guy who had him after birth abandoned him and his family that is coming to pick him up rescued him & raised him. They went to his Dad's home country to visit family for a couple weeks they hadn't seen in over 10+ years. They tried to take CUTIS but the airline refused him. So, they found this guy to take care of him for 2 weeks while they were gone. He's been nice to CUTIS but he belongs at home with his family. Can't wait for the Réunion.

Did the family really abandon him or are they just on a trip? As someone said earlier, Curtis has earned and is earning that family a whole lot of money even beyond the videos they worked him to death viewer started complaining. So I’m not sure the family up and abandoned him. I’d rather believe they’re on a trip or vacation and left Curtis with a member of the family, etc., until they return. and if this video is simply made for fun, etc. I think it’s a bad way to do it because this could have lasting negative effect on dear Curtis. He’s so lovable and adoring and worked so hard for this family until viewers started complaining. They treated poor Curtis like a slave. He was always dirty and you never saw him eating until we started complaining.
