My favorite part of this track is how, at least in my opinion, it feels almost regal. The horns aren’t just representing Neuvillete’s power, they feel like the horns that blast when announcing the arrival of a king.

@@Fenvalur Well, you're welcome! 😊 As far as my current knowledge goes, music is the only form of art that makes me feel things (I can't even enjoy Nilou's dances, my mind is too rational/pragmatic for visual arts 🙃), so while I'm at it, I might also get to know why certain instruments are used, and for which purposes/meanings 👀

I like how some organ played in genshin is played like the antithesis of being a majestic, in my opinion, I heard it sometimes like a demon's chant, the example of that is scaramouche battle or dvalin's. but for neuvillette (either in his theme or the music played arounds him), his music is so gentle yet powerful, like he can be better than the god himself, but it has a touchee of gentleness making him be more approacable, not many divine being in games that can have the aspect of duality like that, for venti and nahida they lacks majestic, ei lacks in wisdom, and zhongli can come close, but I think he has this haughty side on him than neuvillette himself :D

@@Fenvalur thank you XD...... yeah, Dvalin's era is kind of what I missed during my first time playing genshin, the music looks so powerful and time passed, genshin has so many great osts, but the feeling I get just like dvalin back then is not that big, neuvillette came close, but not for the bosses, they somehow not as enchanting like dvalin first back then, IMO XDD

I’ve been checking KZbin every now and then for anything about this music track itself - thanks for being one of the first people to cover this!! ^^ the added comments to give the ost even more meaning in its musical language really helps in appreciating the piece even more, and it’s really fascinating. There’s so much in this ost that can’t be described in words simply because the best way to feel its impactfulness and awesomeness is through emotions. You did very well in being loyal to the composer(s)’s intent, and you’ve earned a sub! :DDD and before i can go on a much longer tangent- i’ll just spare you from the wordiness by saying that the storytelling aspect sends chills every single time, and i absolutely love the fantastic worldbuilding genshin has to offer through teyvat and its intriguing characters like Neuvillette - his lines in this cutscene alone were so impactful!! (If it wasn’t obvious already, I love this cutscene to bits.) On that note, it’s why I can appreciate cover artists because it’s not just about the music itself but the delivery of everything the original had to offer. Awesome stuff, keep it up man ^^^^^
