Cutting a New Logging Road at the Off Grid Cabin | Back to Work on the Sawmill! And more digging!

Back to work on the sawmill. We take down the old shelter that was only meant to be temporary. The trails are still really really muddy so we had to cut a new trail. This will hopefully remain our new logging road (as long as we can keep it from getting too muddy!) Fingers crossed. We also dug a new hole for an additional outhouse for the A-Frame Bunkies. More to come on that very soon!

Oh yahhhh! Bigfoot. Well we like to give him his privacy so have to keep him hidden. 😆 We don't have any complaints with this brand but there are definitely better brands out there. Unfortunately when we were hunting for one everyone was out of stock...(Covid days). When we heard of TMG being on the west coast and that they could deliver straight to our door we jumped. It was over priced at the time but honestly has more than paid for itself. You're likely to find a better quality for even less so I'd do more research on it if I were you. Can't wait to see you two doing the assembly for that. Lol. There were some tense moments. 😬 😂 Have to go watch your latest video! Excited to see your progress!

that is a nice Mill. We have a Hud-Son Sawyer. it is a good mill but I do not like the log dogs. I have three track sections but only two in use. I need to build a perm spacae for it with a roof so I can mill in winter as well. Issue is we are running out of usable white spruce here due to all the beatle kill. 😞
