Cutting Agates & Agatized wood, my first time!

Come along on another adventure as we cut some Montana Moss Agates and Agatized Wood that we found rockhounding on the Yellowstone River in Montana! This is the very first time I have ever cut any rocks, come join me in this experience and enjoy!

My first few times with a tile saw I always ended up soaking wet until I learned a couple of things. First, make sure you only fill the water up to the line in the tank. If you fill it past the line you will have water everywhere. Second, wear a waterproof apron and short sleeves. Third, it will feel strange, but sit behind your saw and pull the rocks through towards yourself. This means you may have to turn your saw on and then walk around to the back of your saw before you can cut your rocks. Finally, you'll have to do some searching on the internet, but there is a company that makes plastic shields to go over your saw to keep the water from spraying everywhere and you can slip your hands into the hand-sized side openings to start cutting.
