There’s an old John Deere bailer on mod hub for $12,000 that would work perfectly for this series, and yes you should have put the clover in the silage pit! Would have been more worth it! But there’s always next time! Great video as always! Enjoy your weekend!

That field at 31000 is 2024 pricing. If you were in 1980 that same field would be 8200 based on a reverse inflation calculator I found. You should pick a start year and adjust prices for fields accordingly.

One of our prime rules in my High School drum line was: "Don't roll in the clovers". My lack of understanding of that phrase certainly explains why I am deep in debt, but I still think of it as good advice. Harvest the clovers. Don't roll in them. Especially if you've used slurry to fertilize them.

If you go up to ‘99, I would recommend the John Deere 6400 series for a small tractor. It was my first tractor driving on my dad’s farm in the southern US. Anyways, keep the videos coming Daggerwin! Also, humor is top notch, you always have me laughing Daggerwin!

Yeah another great episode on Vintage Survival. I would of used the Old Unimog, as my tractor/runner. It is low horsepower but makes up in speed. You also have the Old Fastrac 150 which has horsepower and speed. You also have that John Deere 4755 unreal which has a high horsepower and can go 97 MPH 😂 So you do have options.

i honestly think you should keep the fiat tract crawler. ok its slow as hell but the torque strength it has is incredible. It'll pull anything with no effort.

Trying to study the map it seems like you could create two new fields on your own land. Plot 152, could be turned into a small field. Perhaps you could even get a £ or two selling the shed/garage. The secound field could be placed behind the pit. Just unused land at the moment. Also #bringbackvirtualdaggerwin 🎉

Daggerwin, I am a big fan and love this new series. It is so cool, and I am following along, I am going to plant wheat or rye for my next harvest, and I am doing as much contracts as it takes until I can buy more land. I think land is going to be a good upgrade! So far, I have done contracts on 2 working all the way to 23:42 I am really trying in this series and am excited to see if I can help you figuring out my own ways that work!

You should buy the fiat 180/90 tractor because it has tyres it is only about £33,000 and it has a lot of horsepower

I think the field's prices are extremely high for their size and that is setting you back. Maybe you have to adjust the prices to be be more affordable and realistic for the time.

Winrowers my point of view is that they need to be more then 2x the working width of however you are picking up the material. At 2x you make 1 pass for 2x the width with the winrower and then a second to pick it up, meaning it is the same as 2 passes to pick it up and no time saved.

I found a mod that keyless you have 3 point lift arms on any tractor by a trailer with lift arms on it and the mods is very old styled and is called the lizard cth -100 on console , love the videos

I know the John Deere is very cool, but you should probably swap it out for something that goes at least 12mph. Carting with the tracks just seems quite weird.

@Daggerwin You really shouldn't wiz all over your fields , I don't think the crops care for the extra ammonia 🤣. Anywho Not sure if you'll be able to harvest that field of clover again before the other field is ready , maybe for a bit of extra cash? Not sure if the Other field will or will not require the corn header ?? or if it's harvested just like a grain crop? Keep up the good work , great video as always.

He should look into the mod for the unimog they were produced from 1951-2010, and it could replace both his current tractors and his grain trailer as well and be much faster then his tractors as well as optional front and rear 3-point hitches

Just looked for the mod names the 1951ish unimog is "lizard u411", the more modern unimog 1999-2010ish is "unimog u1200, u1400, u1600"

Never ever in my entire life have i seen a metal tracked pulling machine like this in a farming context. Classic construction machine with a shield for pushing and leveling dirt. Where were these popular? Certainly not in Germany where i live, here even modern rubber tracks are fairly rare, dont recall ever seeing one in actual daily use on the fields.

Okay, so for Vintage Survival, why not say the year is 1995 and so you can't buy machinery manufactured after 1995 and adjust the purchase price of machines according to purchase price in 1995. E.g. A tractor built in 1970 would obviously be cheaper than a tractor built in 1995.

Love the series so far! But I dont like the idea of modern classics on a vintage series, i understand you like big machines and there are a lot of vintage big machines (even the big bud is), my opinion is you should stay to vintage theme because you've never done anything like it you've always had at least one 90s or 2000s machine
