shcc300 is a diminishing agglomorates that will cut, polish n finish (3in1 effect) its cut level is 10 (scale 1-10) but finish off with gloss level 6 (scale 1-10) it has an extremely aggressive abrasive content design for very hard clear coat that can remove 1200 sand marks. you can maximize its effect by doing a long buff cycle 4-6 sec passes at medium speed so it will not dust at all. going to high on speed will prematurely break up the abrasives and heat up fast thus creates a dust and hazy finish. recommended to use with a fine wool or microfiber cut pas both on rotary or DA polisher.

Thanks for the video, really I noticed a better result in cutting & correction than what you got in this test. But I do agree that the major problem of Menzerna 400,300 is the dusting.
@apexdetail856 жыл бұрын
After using it in two corrections... The top three do have slightly better cutting. Yeah... then there is the dusting.

I have tried sonax cutmax and the ex 06-04, I hate both. Sticky and not easy to wipe. Love Meguiars m105, but too dusty. How is the Menzerna 300 compared to Meguiars to wipe off?

My favorite and the best cut compound is the Sonax Cutmax. I tried so many different brands, but the Cutmax is for now the best compromise when it comes to a nice cut and a dust and and non oily/swirly surface. Literally you can control your whole work process with it. The Menzerna, i tried it, i expected more flexibility, it produces some respective amount of dust, the surface is harder to wipe clean and it leaves a dull surface which needs some water to be sprayed on and some additional polishing to somehow dilute the creamy mass that it leaves behind. It reminds me on the old 3M cut compound series. I must admit that it has a pretty good cut, no one can deny it. It is really on the same level like Sonax Cutmax in comparison to abrasive properties. At the end of the day the only thing that makes my choice for the Cutmax is the good workflow. The Menzerna promised so much, but the half of it is not achieved in the product. Probably the Menzerna FG 400 is a better choice than the super heavy cut 300, no matter if it has a lower cut power. I never used it, but i saw that it has a better use flexibility than the 300.

I absolutely cannot do without Cut Max...I do corrections every day and it spoiled me!😃
@Derricky0076 жыл бұрын
It`s just my opinion and my experience with it. It`s up to everyone to chose what material is the right for the own needs. In my opinion the heavy cut 300 can not compete with the Cutmax.

Completely agree.👍

Agreed. Also had that experience with 1000. I've found all the menz compounds like to break down fast... too fast, when we're working on hard paint for example. I do however like their polishes. And 400 is solid.

by the way got a reply from maxshine they said i need to order a 5,000 dollar order to be a Canadian representative that sells their products.. so that's not happening.. lol if i had 5,000 dollars i would be running my company. instead today i went to 2 job interviews. I have 8 years of experience detailing have wet sanded and polished over 2,000 cars and i cant even find a job that pays more than 12 dollars an hour.. idk it insulted me today being told they would start me at 12.. think i have to steer away from detailing for a bit and just do a driving job where i sit on my ass all day cuz those start at 15 a hour lol. sucks cuz i am trying to further my experience as a detailer

Yea man its a tough time for detailers. The detailer at our body shop got fired, painter does such a nice job we hardly ever needed him. Plus he was always putting in requests to order expensive products. The truth is that most places that require a detailer, it's not really that difficult of a thing to get the job done there. You can only make money as a detailer by starting your own business

If you cope/paste the name of the product from your post in the channel's search, all the applicable videos will come up. You can get there by clicking on the name of the channel and then on the magnifying glass icon on the header of the channel's home page. What the different hcc 400 and hcc 300?
@ByeEvoX5 жыл бұрын
Incase if you didn't find the answer, 400 cuts like a light compound, and finishes very, very nicely. The 300 cuts like a heavy compound and leaves behind cloudiness. In other words, you would need to follow up 300 with something to refine. Whereas 400 is a true 1 step because it finishes so good. That being said, 400 wouldn't work well on a car that has hard paint, or a car that has deeper scratches. It will still refine nicely, but won't have much scratch removal. Thus 300 comes in for these kind of jobs. Both are diminishing products being that they start at a high cut rate, and break down into the "polish range." However, even though 300 breaks down, because there are such aggressive abrasives in it, it does not break down to the point where you can use it and be done. Another example of a similar product in strength to 300 would be Menzerna 1000. 1000 does NOT diminish. Hope that helps
