Ugh, I know. It's not always easy to be a one man videographer and groundskeeper/property maintenance person (I don't know what else to call Andrew with the latter 2). I myself am a videographer (I don't get as much video as Andrew does at times but, still), and, sometimes it sure is a pain to get good perspectives, even just editing alone can be a bit of a pain. Both I know about as I do both pretty much next to all myself.

Andrew’s contol of the bucket is simply superior. One perfectly timed and positioned swipe of the bucket to knock dirt off the root ball, and another in the other direction to do the same. No jiggling or jerking of the bucket, just as smooth as can be. A master at work. You can really see this on the speeded up video. It’s as if he’s using his fingers to move the logs.

It's been my observation that players like Andrew cannot hold onto a job working for another unless it's his dad (he learned his skills somewhere). I just read a dozen pages criticizing him because he doesn't chainsaw right (takes his shirt off and doesn't wear armor and pushes trees over before cutting them, etc.) Overloads his dump truck and scares the audience with his driving. No, I would never hire this guy: loose cannon on deck, probably an uppity type, and worst of all got his own opinion on how to do a job. OSHA would burn me at the stake. What I would do though is hire him as a contractor, and let him deal with the small stuff.

It's a heavy truck. I think it has a low center of mass despite being filled with logs. Trucks like that are designed to "safely" haul gravel which is much heavier (more likely to tip over).

The roots dont go very deep on those trees either. Typical NE 🇺🇸 soil type. Very rocky and full of clay. The roots just kinda spread out and dont go very deep. Really easy to get trees blown over in a good storm too.

like in the comment below, In eastern Upstate New York and NE it's not very deep before you hit bedrock so trees have very shallow root systems

I've had the opportunity to view a number of this guys videos. When you first see a 54 minute video titled clearing trees for sawmilling you'd could that be worth nearly an hour. The fact is Andrew produces very interesting content that easily holds your attention. Particularly for me is you never know what exactly he's going to get into, one minute we're pushing over trees, then a loader repair, then back to a driveway and more tree work. Guess maybe it's the unexpected random activity that can happen. It's all good stuff. Thx...
