This documentary is riddled with many inaccuracies, and a point of correction is needed to highlight these errors. King Cetshwayo fought the British imperialists in the Anglo-Zulu War not the Anglo-Boer War (First Anglo-Boer War 16 December 1880 - 23 March 1881. The Boers defeated the British at Majuba Hill, on 27 February 1881. Second Anglo-Boer War 11 October 1899 - 31 May 1902.The war ended when the Boer leadership surrendered and accepted British terms with the Treaty of Vereeniging in May 1902. Both wars were fought in the Transvaal and some parts in Ladysmith, Natal in alliance together with the neighbouring Orange Free State (Oranje Vrystaat) and King Cetshwayo did not feature in both wars), yes the Anglo-Zulu War was on 22 January 1879 later called the Battle of Isandlwana. Queen Elizabeth II was born on 21st April 1926, Mayfair, London, United Kingdom and she has ruled from 1952 to date and how ironic King Cetshwayo could've met her, even Queen Elizabeth I was born on the 7th of September 1533, Palace of Placentia, United Kingdom and ruled from the 17th of November 1558 until her death in 1603 so that would be interesting how as well King Cetshwayo could've been presented to this queen bearing in mind that the king died in 1884. Queen Victoria was born on 24th May 1819, Kensington Palace, London, United Kingdom and ruled from 1837-1901 she is the person King Cetshwayo could have been offered to meet her not Queen Elizabeth I or Queen Elizabeth II. On the 03rd of August 1882, King Cetshwayo docked at Southampton not at Portsmouth on the 05th of August 1882 and he travelled by special train to Kensington. When King Cetshwayo was in London in 1882, he stayed at 18 Melbury Road in Holland Park and that's where he met Queen Victoria at Osborne House and the Prime Minister, William Ewart Gladstone. King Goodwill Zwelithini ka Bhekuzulu was installed as the eighth Monarch of the Zulu nation at a traditional ceremony at Nongoma on 03rd December 1971 not in 1968. Prince Israel Mcwayizeni acted as the regent from 1968 to 1971 to look after the administration of the royal affairs while the young prince Zwelithini completed his education and took refuge in the then Transvaal province of South Africa for three years to avoid assassination. What happened to proper research and proof reading over there at SABC? What happened to due diligence and factual timeline? SABC answer me and explain yourself!

King Cetshwayo didn’t meet with either Queen Elizabeth I or Queen Elizabeth II, Elizabeth I died in 1603 and Elizabeth II hadn’t been born when Cetshwayo was alive, King Cetshwayo met with Queen Victoria and he died long before Elizabeth II was born, in fact he even died before Elizabeth II’s father King George VI was even born, I had to point that out when either the narrator made this error, or the subtitles were erroneously typed at that point
