Yes, I would use the teal fabric for curtains and cushions. I would combine/trim it with a check or plaid. I would use a black check or plaid to make the pattern fabric pop.

I also love the project and the fabrics! Go for the curtains. 😊 Like others I would add the wheels last and appreciate you going through the learning experience for us!!! To protect your fingers with the tape dispenser you could try putting a plastic clip from a bread package on the end of the tape to grab. I find it easier than “restarting” the roll each time. Thanks again!😊

Great idea! I would cover the board prior to putting the balls/wheels on. And yes use the fabric for curtains!

Thank you 😊 I would have added the wheels last but I was afraid they wouldn’t stick to fabric.

The little wheels are stick on so they wouldn’t stick to the fabric if you did the cover before putting wheels on

Thank you so much. I wish I was still in the craft room sewing but I ran out of space. I’m in a different room for sewing and the walls are pale yellow.

Great idea!! I would cover the board before adding the rollers. And that fabric is perfect for a sewing room. If you have enough of it make machine covers too!!

Thank you. 😊 I was afraid to add the wheels last because I didn’t know if they would have stuck. Machine covers would be nice but I personally like to see all my beauties. 😉

This is a great idea. If you find that the foil pushes through on corners, reinforce it with tape on back side and/o round corners.

Very clever!! Wondering if you could add the wheels on the corners after the foil and fabric placement 🤔 I think your choice of fabric for curtains will be great!! 👍

What a cool idea. I bought a Lazy Susan thingy at Dollar General with this specific type of project in mind. Now I have a few ideas on how to go about it. Thank you. Love you and may God bless you today.

You could of put corner things on after you did board. I need to make one.
@JoannasDIYLife6 ай бұрын
If you’re talking about those sticky wheels that wouldn’t work if they’re stuck to fabric because when you go to roll it, it will pull from the fabric. If I put them too far inward away from the fabric and not directly on the corners, then my board would give because it’s thin.
@IreneRoss-w9w7 ай бұрын
Why didn't you put wheels on last after foil and fabric?
@JoannasDIYLife7 ай бұрын
Because more than likely, the sticky tabs on the wheels will not stick to fabric and stay when I’m moving it.
