That was a way bigger repair than I was expecting. Those suckers are really tied in there. Good work guys on such a quick turn around. It's hard to believe that tyre shake could do so much damage, but you hear lots of people complaining about it breaking things, so you know it is not a one off, or bad chassis building, it is a constant problem.

Damn, that's a huge thrash to get done in time. Respect to the team for doing the job, the 4 link brackets are right at the heart of the back half of the chassis, virtually all of the structure is built around them, look at the number of nodes in the area. We only hit the Ohio episode over here, so not caught up with where you are now. Good luck with closing the gap on Ryan. Have you had this problem before on any other cars?

It happens from the shake the car has when it has tire shake. That’s why they look over every weld and joint after a bad shake and after every race. It flexes so much it’s common.

I’ve never had a 4 link bracket break I can’t imagine the shake that you are experiencing when you say it’s shaking if it’s doing that. I have only had 4 links on my bagged body dropped Nissan hardbody minitruck and S-10 “Hit the pace car”
