The Bob is so cute! I’m also 4 years locd and I have a 5 month old baby girl. I completely neglected my hair during my pregnancy and 4th trimester. I live in a cold climate and 2 of my locs broke in half the past winter. Now I’m dealing with postpartum shedding and dry scalp. Y’all please take care of your crown 👑 I’m in the process of nursing mine back to health 🖤

I’ve had my locs for 4 1/2 years. I just did the exact same thing you did in this video. They were just too choppy in the back and I wanted a more even and neat look so I cut them all shoulder length. They look so much better and I still have plenty of length left. I'm 4 years this November! I wish I had loced earlier as well but because it was so permanent I was afraid. The best thing I could have done, I love my locs!!! My locs have become more more apart of my spiritual journey and healing so much that I cover them know when I'm out.

I clicked so fast 😂 I miss the vlogs and the loc videos… cutting the dead hair is a good idea. I started my Locs because of you and then cut them off due to bleaching. I started over…I am loc’d in again…. 5 months loc’ed now.

I've had mine for almost 4 years myself and I'm going through the same thing with a few of my locs. Thinking about cutting mine and starting over within the next year. I have fine hair and did the same thing, just had to have color. I couldn't do the struggle locs, wasn't a vibe. I'm also a cosmetologist and always warn my clients on the damage that bleach can cause. You're beautiful and can rock anything. ♥

Girl I feel you lol I didn’t have damage locs but I crochets extensions on my already long locs and because of the weight my roots were thinning..it hurt me to cut off all that length I had but my roots I wasn’t trying to risk…so I cut all off to a bob. Two years later my locs are thicker( I combined them ) and I just leave it be now…so it’s like the second rebirth of my locs and I’m happy. Before you know it, your locs will be good as new and healthy.

I am 100 with you. When I got pregnant with my first son my hair was down to my butt, but once he started feeding it got super thin and I cut it all off. I’m now 2 years into my second set. A lot thicker this time from 120 to 52. 😊

Hey Boo. What it do? I have been following you for a few years and I too have fine beautiful locs. I am 3 years in, and I am loving my journey and finally ... I have some hang time. I just experienced my ends breaking on a few of my locs and I was crying like a baby. I realized that my loc journey is a part of my spiritual well-being and it hurt to have had a few ends damaged and be cut off. It was very painful. I think I am going to stop dying my ends blonde.
