I have never attempted to cut my own hair beyond just S&D on my split ends, and it makes my husband nervous when he sees me with the shears in hand. When I do want my hair trimmed, I just let my husband know, he gets out his good hair shears, cape, hair clips, etc and Intake a seat on the stool. I have him trim my hair every couple months to remove splits/damage to keep my ends neat. So I definitely would not try to cut my own hair, because I would have to have hubby fix it afterwards anyway.
