Where's either your blowtorch and or heat gun, as usually you don't do this cold as most vinyls will crack, Hench the heat.

Not always needed when fitting altro. It's usually playable enough.

No, not realistically. Can you give a demo with any 2.3/8mm flooring?

Generally these demos are done in a controlled environment. Out in site is a different kettle of fish. And also here in Australia we dont have those top capping strips, usually up the cove to either 100 or 150mm.
