fingers shall be kept away from the direction of the cutting edge of the saw. i cut my fingers several times due to the broken blade since i pressured the saw while cutting.

Opinion on using a powered scrollsaw

a scroll saw can sometimes be too powerful and cuts too fast. you can loose control and wonder off the line.
