It happens every day in our Florida beaches my guy. I literally got into an altercation a few months ago over calling out someone leaving a pile of trash after them and their party of 3 left it behind. My buddy was slammed into the ground by one guy while I was punched in the nose and face. I don't know shit about fighting so it didn't end well. I used to organize beach cleanups in high school with volunteer groups and in one group of 6-7 and in about 2-3 hours one day, we manged to pickup 50lbs of trash. I'm not saying this to toot my horn I'm saying that there needs to be more litter enforcement and not such a slap on the wrist for it, I feel this is the only way. You've got most of our beaches in Florida thankfully picked up by volunteers and paid 3rd party companies or government cleanup,. employees but there needs to be change.
