This video is an absolute masterclass in not only the Pepakura elements but also the use of the Cameo as a whole. Thanks for taking the time to go into this level of detail.

AS-IS!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! YESSS I've literally been tearing my hair out for hours (Actually probably months) as there was a scaling issue from Pep to Cameo import DXF AS-IS, I will now remember this for the rest of time

You just sold me a Silhouette Cameo just from demonstrating the software. You'll hear back from my wife shortly about the hole you just made in my wallet. Thanks!

Great video. I am looking to skip the printer part completely since it may not line up. The DXF I pull into Studio software has the numbers and the lines. I can set the numbers as a sketch and the others as score and cutlines. Issue is, on the bend lines, I would first like to sketch those then cut on top of the same line. I can't find away to do this. Software assigns each color to one type of operation.

Good video but I am having issues. I watched this video and the one by robot chicken on a similar process. When I save my vector info and export as a DFX files per sheet to Silhouette studio I keep getting the edge ids on the vector info but it won't print the edge Ids when I send to my printer. Do you have any suggestions or tips on what is wrong? I have the cameo 3 and working on Silhouette Studio 4.1.

Hi Taylor, can you assist me in cutting out a file? I have the PDO, I don't have a cameo and live in OHIO. It is for a mask that my daughter wants. Please advise.

+Damion Chatmon Hey sorry, my Cameo has been out of service for quite a while. My meddling got a little too destructive. I'm working on fixing it, but I'm not sure if I can. Sorry!

zane kuehn Have you run through the calibration steps? They have a built in calibration thing where you print a test page, load it and cut it, then adjust some offsets until the cut lines up with the line.

I'm having problems adjusting the scale before you even cut to get the flap IDs match I did the scale for letter size paper and it still doesn't quite line up

Thank you for this extensive tutorial but in the time it took just to set the whole thing up I think I could have cut out and started assembling that hip pod already... I'm very tempted to buy one of these cameo's for more complex projects but man does setting it up look intimidating...

h8tm3 as with anything there is a learning curve, a lot of what he was doing was setting up a template that can be carried over to other designs. Also while this is cutting you can do other stuff
