I would add a good thick pair of leather gloves to his tool list.

That takes all the challenge out of the job. ;-) Yes, some cut & puncture resistant gloves are great.

Hello! I’m an instructional designer with Alteirus College. One of our instructors found your KZbin video online and would like to link to it in our online classroom. I didn't see a usage statement on the video, so I'm reaching out directly to see if we have your permission to link to it. Thanks for your time! - Rachel

Did you end up figuring it out? I am in a similar situation. I am thinking it may be easier to just move my damn furnace so I don't have to transition into the attic.

Nice video. Thanks. The 1/2 inch on the measurement is confusing though. Can you clarify?

Watch my video on joining rectangular ducts. Add 1/2 inch to the required length. The half inch is consumed when joining to another duct section or fitting.

only work for light duct.. like 26 -30 gauge .. try it on 22-24 !@@

Hello I’m finishing my basement I need add one register in the bathroom Directly to the duct From the duct to outside edge of where curling and register will be attached I only have 1 1/2” what adapter fo I need to attach my register to the direct duct Thanks
@nickydoes2 жыл бұрын
There's no standard. You'll have to use whatever fits. A 'transition' is necessary if you must go from round to rectangular.

@@nickydoes I’m thinking about drilling 4” hole Because bathroom is close to the furnace don’t want all that air blowing into small space. Than using rectangular spacer for register. I just was t sure if there’s specific adapter when you attaching register to the direct duct. Thanks
