Justin your bringing back memories from my childhood helping my dad do the same thing, cutting rounds, splitting with a maul, and stacking it in the barn. Good hard work.😀

Good evening Elf Lord Journeys. This was probably a common thing years ago. Now we have electric and fuel for heat. I am like you, many memories as a child helping mom and dad with firewood. Good times. Have a Blessed Day Friend. Justin

Running a chainsaw like that for rounds can be very satisfying work! Well done!

Yeah I love cutting firewood. Once the limbs are cleaned up, you can really enjoy cutting the rest of the tree. Have a Blessed Day Friend! Justin

Beautiful family helping Dad, very nice, I just spent a week and a half cutting trees, haven’t processed them into firewood yet. Ill have enough for two winter seasons when I’m done.

Thank you Rick! Sounds like you have been busy. We are running behind on our firewood this year but I guess it is better than never. Have a Blessed Day Friend. Justin

We love that wood heat during the winter. 😆 I knew somebody was going to like that. It's all my fault. I should have been safer. Have a Blessed Evening Friend. Justin

Good work, I bet u were sore after that, it pays to split the wood as soon as u cut it, I got some maple that was dry and so stringy it's a nightmare to split, I think I might have to cut the logs shorter . I use a electric splitter in my garage, clean and quiet, takes longer but saves my body and relaxing, I do wish they made a heavier splitting maul, might have to add weight under maul on handle.

Them electric splitters are nice. Never owned one but I may one of these days. When I get a log I cant split with a maul, I cut it into and it usually works. Dry wood can be tough. have a Blessed Day Friend! Justin
