I just ordered this sword because I was tempted to settle with the Windlass falcata but I decided to spend a bit more and take a chance on this one.

Nice cutting man,do you fold the mat in half before rolling it around the dowel?

Yes, I fold it in half with about 4 inches of the bottom half sticking out. I roll the dowel into the single layer initially, then into the rest of the mat, making for a clean cutting target.

Been eyeing this sword for a while. Does it have a secondary bevel in the last couple mm of the blade? Hard to tell from the pics. And as always, thanks for showing what it can do!
