Nice work. I wanna shorten my c10, but I don't wanna spring for a new metal floor($$$), and wood just doesn't fit the vibe of my truck. I should be able to do the project for pretty much just the price of shortbed sides, which isn't all that bad.

I think you could have mentioned at the beginning that you were fucking this bed up and we shouldn't use this as an example for our projects. We hear clear at the end that it is too warped by some fire to be used .... waste of 15 min.

Just because I don't plan to use the bed floor long term doesn't mean this isn't the way to shorten it I have the bed back together and everything lines up like it should, I just wish I could have gotten the rear support off instead of welding the back of the floor back on

Why did you sit through 15 minutes of it, you can see in the first 4 minutes that it's warped, if you rub your two little brain cells together you could probably guess it's not permanent.

@@fredjones1238 yup it's already been over a year since I did this and haven't had an issue with the way the floor was done but I did have to cut out the center of the bed to make room for my big C notches
