This is a second video in my Homested restoration series. This one focuses on the outbuildings of the house - at first I was considering repairing them, but due to the limited time I have, their very poor condition and the risk of them falling on my head at any given time, I decided to tear them down completely.
Another issue was that the leaking roof was not only letting the rain IN the house, it was also preventing the humidity to escape the interior, keeping the house wet at all times.
I used the scrap wood to temporary fix the roof on the house itself. The remaining lumber will be useful in future projects.
With water leaking problem fixed I can shift my attention to the garden, which really needs lot of work as well.
