Thanks for the two videos in this series. I used to cut my own flames out of a masking material for plastic model cars and sort of learned the same techniques for going around the radius of the licks. You have shown how parallel lines can be made when doing this type of design. Great job!

I don’t know why but I always seem to do the best surrounds on the axis body

Is this part 2? I seem to have missed the flames cutting part. I don't see another video by you that doesn't appear as already watched. Thanks

when you are doing the straight line cuts, are you using the full blade length of the #16, (keeping the blade flat to the surface), or are you using the heel or toe end only of the blade?

@@zscater Thanks for the question. Still using the tip. But…. Looking under a microscope…. The tip is at a different angle vs a #11. So when you’re cutting, it will want to track straighter. (So the tip, but “more” of the tip. If that makes sense).

What did you use to erase the Sharpie? I've never had good luck.

@@MelendezRacing 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. (Anything with a less percentage won’t work as well)

@BradleyFineLineDesign thank you, I just got some to clean my 3d printer plates. I'll try it on some micro-b bodies I'm painting.
