I like how you politely called the dude out and gave a class on how to do the sling. Kindest "Fuck You" ever.

You have got to be kidding me. I'd really like to meet the sorry pos who actually returned a sling they frayed. Take out you Bic and your blade and fix it! This is of course assuming that you can be trusted with either of those items, seeing as you own a device that can kill a man dead from a quarter mile or beyond. Burning the end of nylon strap or cord is fucking Tiger Scout level shit. FFS.

Just picked one up. Have a bit of experience using strap webbing and this item is really well made. I appreciate the thoughtful touch that put a simple fabric silencer over the nice, beefy metal cinch buckles. Nothing fancy, but a perfectly effective way to keep metal parts from clattering or tapping. Also an easy way to manage short lengths of strap-end, just by tucking it back under the silencer. Pity about the guy who couldn't mend his own gear. A man with a rifle who can't fix his own frayed ends is a thought to make me a bit uneasy.

I only buy v-tac slings. Really like the padded sling for rifles and unpadded for my lighter AR/AK pistols and sub guns. Great slings!

Love your slings. Have em on all my carbines. I'd really love to see more colors and patterns. Such as an AOR1 version hahaha

Cool video, I have one of the older ones I guess with all metal parts have had it 3 or 4 years now on my main rifle and love it to death. Have never had a reason to try anything else, I did order a couple of the sling clips though just to see how they are waitin on them to see how I like them.

I've been using these slings for years and have them on all of my long guns that will take them. I've had to do this to several of my older slings but it's no big deal to fix.

I just got one and guess what.... it’s long a f. Like took it out of the box, put it on my rifle, slung it over my shoulder and my rifle is almost laying on the floor..and I’m 6’3”. The only way i can get it remotely tight to my body is if I tighten it to the point where the tension strap as 3” of adjustment and 20” tabs on both ends. Obviously I’m doing something wrong here. I’m coming from years of nothing but basic no frills 2 point slings and this one is quite busy in comparison. Help me out.

Same here, man. The only way I can get it to be tight enough is with zero capability to adjust it, or I just since that all the way down and have a two foot long strap hanging off of me.

I'll tell ya one trick I like to use is, using a JUNKIE EL CHEAPO KNIFE technique. WEARING GLOVER....did you get that, WEARING THINK GLOVES. I TAKE A CHINEESEIUMN EL CHEAPO KNIFE and heat it up. Whil WEARING THICK GLOVES I use a bensomatic torch and heat the EL CHEAPO CHINEESEIUMN KNIFE edge till it's pretty hot. NOT GLOWING while WEARING INSULATION GLOVES. I use a Bowie style fixed blade. You don't need to heat the whole blade just the part you wish to use to cut the strap. I know some knucklehead will pull out their Chris Reeves folder and say well the dude on the internet told me too. Buy a cheap knife and INSULATED GLOVES and give it a shot. It's what I have used for years. Defective sling oh good lord. He's the reason we can't have nice things.
