A steel chop saw with a concrete blade on did always a good job for me cutting bricks .. I’ve had the makita and dewalt they are way cheaper than the one I have now eibenstock but they do the same job .. nice work going on there mate 👌🏼🙏🏼

But when you use a vacuum cleaner you need to put a pre filter between the machine and the vacuum cleaner .. it’s like a filter in a bucket used to clean out a fireplace

Did a job like that once and when the spandrels came they were a lot higher than the windows cills.All hell broke out and the chippies had to mangle the wood which resulted in the guarantees being made null and void.I tried saying make the windows have a void round each one(flashing etc).Seen it done- - looks good but I think they thought I meant build an Ark. When the roof was ready then for roof tiles,building inspector condemned it all as the tile battens weren’t, staggered.Wacu!! Live and learn eh.

Lovely bit of work, proper journeyman, heard you mention before that your suffering from arthritis, I had it around 4 years ago, I got it really bad, have been talking selenium for the last couple of years and the pain has gone, you'll get it in any health shop

I’m retired now but back in the 80s There used to be Target Wet brick/ block saws partner saws etc but years later Never had one Everyone Dry cutting and blowing heavy dust all over and we could somehow just totally get away with it in the USA but these jobs like that London repointing and restoration do They’re all sealed up inside the scaffolding with poly and none of that nuisance dust is blowing all down the block. Norton makes a good saw too wet/ dry and the sliding tray and water stuff all comes with it for about 1400 US dollars I think that might be the very best one for the money

I prefer a bridge saw as I find the clippers as good as they are have play in the rollers so doing repeated accurate cuts can be a pain in the prick🤦🏻‍♂️

Try smearing a thin layer of fairy on the inside of the mask, should stop it steaming up. Failing that plenty of anti mist in the motorcycle world to try👍🏼
