Omg you described my 5 year old son to a T! I was recommended by a few moms to seek occupational therapy for him. His behavior and anger issues are become problem . Some days are better than others

It is a constant struggle. And I work around her. I also have issues myself with it and more also, so it is very overwhelming most of the time.

Thank you for the information - I am a Late Diagnosed ASD Adult and doing research on Sensory Processing Disorder - This has been very helpful information. I wanted to know why you don’t acknowledge Sensory Processing as a life long Neurological disorder that starts at conception and ends at death?

Me too. I got diagnosed when I was little but my parents never did anything for it. I’m now 22 and finally learning different ways to stimulate myself and not run away from social events but every single day is a struggle. I really wish they did stuff for adults so I could get the help but it’s always mostly focused on kids

Strict routine, bath and baby massage starting early as possible. My son used to bang his head. I would put a firm hand behind his head a massage his forehead with firm pressure. He later would call hitting his head reindeer fight. Not sure if he saw this on discovery channel. Anger is typical but it rarely happens now because he’s heard use your words his whole life. He never liked change especially shoes.

I feel like disgusting whenever I see any gold, metal, silver coins, currency coins, currency notes, rusty objects water combined with pins near them, pins, coins near algae. Whenever I think of them or feel like touching them or seeing someone who wears earings I feel so disgusting, irritated, etc. I am not understanding how to explain my problem. Whenever I see any objects with algae, like the green color in bathrooms, I feel so irritated. Why this is happening only for me? Is this any disease? Please help me to understand more about my problem because i am not able to explain it properly 😭 😔

Anyone can have sensory issues. I bet its rough to have sensory issues and not something like autism, gotta be such a pain for people to take you seriously.

weard... how easy kids are diagnosed instead of parents and their parenting... most kids have zero disorder, they just show something is not okei at home and how one "handles" them at home neather of us likes to "handled" we like to be involved, but not handled.... and then comes the aunt, and all is fine, or grandpa, or grandma, or one who does it better in that little case... some kids like to be bathed by x, some like to be dressed by y, its because those people each one does it a different way... untill its big enough to do it itself .... diagnose the parenting first please
