I would totally watch an entire series of you crafting your own racing league, a la Wipeout style!

My hand is WAY up for a 'season' or series of these racer ships being created. Think there is a massive story to be told about them, their drivers etc. Would love to see a hanger bay/paddock/pit area environment model done as well. Cannot wait to see the ship painted and I love the idea of having your Patron's logos as 'sponsors' of the race team.

Eventhough you are not "claiming to be good at it", you absolutely are! And Eventhough I don't build models like you do (I am doing mainly props and warhammer) you are one of the biggest inspirations for me so far. Thank you for doing this and I hope that you will continue supplying us with your great videos full of amazing ideas for a very long time. Cheers man

Love the concept of a row of docked racers, ready to start the race.

you should do a series of these pod racer style build and then issue a challenge for the kitbashing/crafting community and other content creators to make their own.

This is comming out so absolutely incredible that its starting to compete with the combat robot; can't wait to see it painted! I firmly believe you are the single most skilled scratch builder on youtube

I think seeing more of these ships would be awesome. I love the stuff you make

Very cool design and feature with that docking arm. Must be one of my favorite scratch built vehicles I've seen.

I really love the little pilot. Very well done .

Contrary to what you say, your pilot sculpture is awesome. I couldn't see how you could improve it. The entire build is a marvel in itself. You've created a masterpiece out of stuff most people would throw away. Well done, great job!

Was thinking that as well... where are all the great builds being stored and can we see them all? Hahahaha.

As a model maker myself, i think its very smart of you to leave the fuel tanks "simple" compared to the rest. It makes perfect sense, they're fuel tanks and i can easily imagine each racer being able to stop at a fuel pit-stop and basically "eject" the fuel container and have a new one slotted in by the crew instead of refueling the one tats on the ship. They dont need to be fancy, just practical and even disposeable if needs be.

id love to see more races/stuff in this world!!!

It’s a fun idea to do a new racer each season, but you shouldn’t lock yourself into it if you’re not inspired by an idea. It would be a great exercise to keep stretching your skills, but your best pieces are the ones you wanted to make.

Great progress! It's very interesting hearing you talk about contrasts and why you detail the parts you do!

If you have the energy for it, then yeah you really should make a second racer, with a different design!
@ThereandBackaKen6 ай бұрын
I think, like Pod racers, they should all follow the same 'rules' but have nuanced differences between them. Cockpit placement, back bodies etc. But all should have these large fuel cells (maybe some have 1, maybe another has 3 or 4?) etc. So you can tell they're all racing in the same circuit/league.

Really loving the progress on this ship! Got a question (as you referred to it in this video.). Who do you keep in mind when working on your projects? And who do you consider to be “the masters”? I’m super curious about your process and who your gaining inspiration from! Your work is exceptional so obviously you have a winning thought process behind it all! 🤩

In the summer if the fan ain’t going neither are we…lol. What about lights? Not actual light up lights but indicators on the ship, to identify the ship and where it’s going to maneuver.

i think exposed cables and tubes look cool but there are not much of a fantasy "brand" friendly, if its a profesional race with brands mabye you should do cover with metal plates and branding, like all modern gaming motherboards begin to do now a days full of heat pipes and covers.
