CUTV freelancer Taylor Murray was pepper sprayed by Montreal police while filming at a pro-Palestine protest. This video shows his first-hand experience and coverage of the event.
This rally was hosted outside of the James Administration building as a support rally for pro-Palestine activists that occupied a room inside of the administration building on McGill University's downtown campus.

McGill Administration has the right to say who can have access to the campus or not. Just because everyone is allowed to visit does not make it a public property. It's the same thing as grocery stores, bars etc.

Students at the University of Montreal prefer to stay at the university to continue learning and educating themselves.
