Thx for the review :) Would you say, that this pedal can be used to sound like for example a drop C tuning without tuning the guitar ?

I've found that it doesn't do downtuning that well, at least not as well as other, more expensive, pedals. For example, the DigiTech Drop or EHX Pitchfork.

Imo, they should have included options from -1 to -5 and from +1 to + 5 and engineer it better to get rid of artifacts in these options and there'd be great entry level pitch pedal :)

My bass is currently on drop b, can i use this to make my tuning higher? (I want to play in standard tuning for example

I don't have a bass right now, just a Danelectro Baritone, so I don't know for sure how this pedal will work in this scenario. If I get a chance, I'll give it a try.

I just got one, what is the USB port supposed to be used for? Not a mention on the website.

I don't think it does anything. They might have intended it as an alternative way to power the pedal but that didn't work when I tried it.

@@rajivbdeo Right, what I meant was that the usb port has the very same function in all of these cuvave's pedals: it works as an audio interface through a computer.

Not really. It doesn't track that well and sounds to artificial. It works best for creating a lo-fi synth like sound combined with a clean guitar signal.

Do you think it might be useful to imitate bass line while looping?

It could work that way when set to an octave below. It would be better if it had a 2 octaves below though.

I bought it for that purpose, however I just noticed it's got some latency, still to test how that works out while looping. It's news for me that most pitch shifters have a similar problem, the algorithm it seems to be.

3:28 Best tone of this video, would work well for 8-bit video game stuff. There's also the Dirty Robot Pedal from Digitech.
