Why is regulating the blood flow to tissue is more important than the high blood pressure
@DrChamkani Жыл бұрын
Both are important, depending upon the circumstances. In hypotension or bleeding the priority is keeping blood pressure near normal, so that brain and heart receive proper amount of blood flow, and blood flow to viscera and muscles may decrease. In exercise priority is to increase blood supply to muscles while keep blood flow to other tissues normal

thank you sir for such good information. God bless you. but I have a question? how does autoregulation explain the low arterial pressure so that the tissue still will be able to get blood flow?
@DrChamkani Жыл бұрын
When arterial pressure is low, the resistance of the arterioles in the tissue decreases. This allows more blood to flow through the capillary beds, providing the tissue with the necessary oxygen and nutrients. Conversely, when arterial pressure is high, the resistance of the arterioles increases, which restricts blood flow to the capillaries and maintains a steady blood flow to the tissue.

@@DrChamkani but sir how resistance will decrease,here in the formula of resistance there is no term for blood pressure (r=8nl/πr⁴)
