@@petertran4470 Oh, let's see the "great" Goldberg finally admit that the only reason he became a main event star was purely cause he was pushed to the moon by WCW with his looks being his only talent. When will he also admit that he never spared any time getting better in actual pro wrestling cause he was just too lazy to put any effort into it when he clearly saw how much hurt he was putting his fellow wrestlers in?

@@lazySquirred Geez, I didn’t know Goldberg was on trial. When did he say he was great? In fact he’s admitted he was very green and new to the industry. He’s stated that he didn’t have same passion as other typical wrestlers but he seized an opportunity and made the most out of it as anyone should in life. Yes, he’s admitted his flaws and shortcomings but no one can take away his contributions to the business. Goldberg had more than looks. Stone Cold even said Goldberg’s popularity had him on his toes. If that’s easy then why have very few been able to achieve it? Goldberg had intensity, real connection with the crowd (something 99% wrestlers don’t have) and was athletic af (jackhammering Big Show back in the days and popularising the spear). Not perfect but who is?

Y'know, there are some older wrestlers, or "legends", that when they come back should only wrestle other older guys. But if you compare his match with Taker to the second Brock feud or that last run with Lashley, its pretty clear that Bill Goldberg should only work with younger guys. If you've got one older guy who needs to be kinda led through a match stood in the ring, that's one thing. If you've got two of em (or in the god awful follow-up's case, four), then really that first bell shouldn't be breathed near let alone rung 😂

Exactly, it could've worked in 2002 when Ric Flair was Raw General Manager, when Big Evil Taker was bullying Flair and others, GM Flair could've brought in a babyface Goldberg or Sting to face him, it could've worked then like heel Big Evil was gonna take on a threat to his then Decade of Destruction. Fans would've lost their shit if either match happened back in 2001, 2002 or 2003. It's a shame, Sting waited way too long to finally come to WWE & it's a shame that they didn't have him (or Goldberg) face Taker when they were still in their primes. Both matches could've good back then. They waited way too long to do those matches, just look at what happened when Sting had that match with Seth Rollins.

Both men were hurt at the very end of this match and that’s why it went so badly and nothing more to it!

Honestly the match should have happened back in 2003 It’s unfortunate that it became what it became because they could have planned it out

This would've been a far better match if Goldberg didnt get a concussion right from the beginning of the match. However, Undertaker usually always wanted to work with a younger guy to help carry him through the match over the last 15 years or so. I can understand Undertaker wanting to face Goldberg. Thats one of the only attitude era dream matches you can do at this point. Its too bad it didnt work out but thankfully both guys lived and made millions of dollars doing this match.

If it’s indeed true that the referee communicated to Taker that he is messed up and Taker should’ve went straight to the finish instead of trying to do what they set out to do the dude was concussed twice some of that is on taker I know taker kind of really wants to blame Goldberg sneakily but some of that is on him and then try and drop him on his head when you know the dude is concussed again was just a shitty thing because you know Goldberg didn’t mean to drop Taker on his head because the dude was concussed.

Goldberg screwed up no doubt but Taker never gets heat for being barely able to lift Bill & almost dropping him on his head, they both messed up in this match.

@mikeg2491 He did drop him on his head. Undertaker lost control of Goldberg's weight and couldn't control the descent downwards on his knees.

@@CrimeApexOfficial If the referee communicated to the undertaker that Goldberg is not there he’s gonna cause then he should’ve just pivoted and went straight to a finish like a submission type of finish the Hells gate or something else

A wrestler that is incapable of a 3 minute match vs a wrestler that is reliant on his opponents' ability to work and sell to have a decent match! Best case scenario, it's a god awful match.

Wait, Goldberg gave himself a concussion by smashing his head against the door because he didn't know how to get ready for the match before the match then during the match, he concussed himself again and then he has the balls to blame taker for dropping him on his head after almost killing taker? Did I get that right?

I think both should have known they weren’t in their prime and not let the match go ahead. When one is older and this shape u need a carrier. Unfortunately that match had no carrier, as 2 amazing vets they both should have known better. Having said that we all do stupid shit thinking we are younger than we are 😂 Respect to both for amazing careers and awesome interview !
