PSE QRS🥺 Excellent CW QSO illustration for a beginner. I have not yet learned all the abbreviations, but everyone should be able to give at least a basic report) 73!

This is a great format for CW QSO’s. Really useful for learning. Found this channel from the pages of Keynote (March 2022). I too was a sound engineer (in a previous life!). I wish Moog would get into the business of CW oscillators! M0YZX

Ladder Moog audio filters could also work nicely with adjustable resonance to bring out the CW tone. I actually need to try that, I have two MF-101 Moogerfooger Low Pass filters.

Geweldig, mooi werk Adam!

What's the "DR" thing - a salutation of sorts?
@AdamSQ5VCO2 жыл бұрын
Abbreviation for "Dear". Usually goes before a name or DR OM (Dear Old Man). I heard it's more common in Europe than US. Here everyone uses it.
@TheTreegodfather2 жыл бұрын
@@AdamSQ5VCO "Dear" in American English has a more romantic connotation, usually an address used for men to women.

It really threw me off near the end when 40 meters was sent as “4O” (letter O). I think that is uncommon. I would never translate the letter for a number - it’s not even a cut number. Has anyone else seen this in the wild?

Yep, I can see it common while naming icom 73oo

Which is funny since we very often use "oh" instead of "zero" in speaking anyway.
