Charleston isn't first starting out. He's already been doing comedy shoes and he's getting way more from doing interviews. LiveNation or TK, whoever was responsible for paying him, were trying to take advantage of Charleston. If you got one of the biggest names on the internet, you'd be a sucker to go on tour, make a company millions, and they don't even bother paying for your accommodations. You only do that getting peanuts and paying for your own accommodations if you don't have a name.

Did you even watch the video? In this situation it seems like TK went above and beyond for CW. But CW is just self-destructive and burns bridges wherever he goes. You see how he just fumbled the bag with Adin and a Kick deal. And he's moving around like a compulsive liar. Had all his stans running around believing he had a LiveNation tour deal. Meanwhile, he was just TK's tagalong and he couldn't even do that right. He was too inexperienced to be the MC, so he got kicked from that role. Then his comedy set got cut from 30 minutes to 15, but he was still so bad he got kicked off the tour altogether.

Pay them to perform when they in his town but you don't do that to someone that has to travel with you. It's not worth it to the comedian or CW.
