You achieved an excellent finish! I have always wanted to make buildings but I find it complicated in how to design them! even with references! you make it look so easy! Can the same type of buildings be made with pink foam? I hope to see the work completed !!! Congratulations!!! samuel.
@CWModelling4 жыл бұрын
I've never used the pink foam but I presume it will be the same.....I work in construction so buildings are kind of second nature to me, lol

You just helped me make a decision.I have been trying to use a Laser cut ,kit to build a French Barn for a Kelly’s Hero project I’m working .Not happy with the laser cut kit.Going to use Foam Project Blue Board Instead.How many Times did you use that soldier to get the height for it ?
@CWModelling2 жыл бұрын
Its all rough estimates but I usually use 1 figure and a head for a normal door and nearly 2 for ground to first floor, the rest is making the proportions look right. It helps to find some photos to give you a sense of what you want to build and then sketch it all out first to get it looking right 👍

Could you give us the measurements of the walls? and windows? thanks
@CWModelling4 жыл бұрын
the large barn is approx 17x10cm and 15cm high at the ridge and the door is approx 8x8cm, the smaller one is approx 9x6cm and 9cm at its highest and the window is 2.5x4cm......or hit Pause and count for yourself 😉
@djstreiker21714 жыл бұрын
@@CWModelling Thank you, I have tried to do it that way but the measures do not match those you provide, so I asked to be sure.

I found a scale rule on Amazon... So it's easy to build at the right measure :)
@Teh11Teh4 жыл бұрын
amazing work ! just one question wouldn´t is be easier to spraypaint the whole bricksection in one tone and paint the other Colors to it ?Or is there a reason to do ist all by Hand ? It Looks very timeconsuming to paint it all seperatly
@CWModelling4 жыл бұрын
Thanks......I'm not entirely sure what you mean but the reason I paint the undercolours is that it gives a lot of tonal variation once I have oversprayed with a unifying colour. This isn't really obvious in the video or photographs but in reality it gives a very varied effect which is more realistic IMO 👍
@Teh11Teh4 жыл бұрын
what i meant was spraying the whole section in a light tone and add the darker tones on the spraypainted surface

Ah ok....maybe I'll try it and see how it goes 👍
