Sang this for my high school’s Christmas show. Held on “Ah”s for the last bit, that last time the girls go high (a big swell in the song) it sent chills down my spine. Amazing arrangement.

This is the sort of performance in which listeners unconsciously lean forward in their chairs slightly, without even realizing. Captivating. I can imagine that it would have taken the live audience quite some time do decide "Do we applaud? Do we dare break this reverential silence? Will we wake the Christ Child?" Masterful.
