Usually I start a series with a design video, but this time it was a little different. I thought it would be nice to tune the thing first, then produce a concise set of guidelines. A quick answer would be - two motors, two propellers, two servos, some batteries, a flight controller, as well as two ESCs (electronic speed controllers) and a radio receiver, if the flight controller does not have them integrated. Components vary depending on the desired size, performance and available budget. In this project, the frame is 3D-printed. Plywood and laser cutting will probably do it. The best choice would be fiberglass or carbon fiber parts, but that needs to be ordered, and it costs more. I should eventually release CAD files for that, but again, I don't want to publish something which may be way suboptimal. I admit that this is not really helpful, and that there are many important details to cover. I will do a video about that, but it will take me some time.
