This is what I did guys doing the working part but got 83.2 as Joanne Morgan says below Q²=100²+80km²-2(100)(80)cos54 Q²=10000+6400-16000(0.588) Q²=16400-9408 Q=√6992 Q=83.618 Q=83.62 😊😊

Question sir, when you're finding the angle shouldn't it be at the top of the side?

=10000 + 6400 - (16000 * Cos 54) =16400 - (16000 * 0.5878) =16400 - 9404.8 Q² = 6995.2 to get rid of the square you would need to find the square root, but by basic knowledge you should already know what is done to one side will be done on the other so if you find the square root of Q² you would also need to find the square root of 6995.2 √Q²=√6995.2 =Q² = 83.637 = 83.64 to 2 d.p.

so from 2(100)(80)cos54 you have to work out that as one equation in order to get the answer when you add 10000+6400 u then subtract it from the answer you get from 2(100)(80)cos54 and then find the square root of the answer from above. :)
