A wonderful, deep dialogue between the paintings and the music: a meditation of art….
@markpx Жыл бұрын
There's never anything decorative about a Twombly, never anything that you feel is put into the work purely to give enjoyment to the viewer. Perhaps more than any other artist Twombly is unafraid to keep his gestures crude, agonized, tormented, bearing the traces of an epic struggle with materials, ideas and chaos. The satisfaction the viewer receives from the results of Twombly's heroic, Herculean labors is in the understanding that this is what defines our essence as human beings.

Aurelio, your work on this extraordinary good presentation of famous painters, is art itself. Bravo. Paintings and music are in propriate combination. Thank you for all of this and good luck.

Die Musik zu den Bildern wirkt hypnotisch, wie ein Gang durch fremde Sphären. Er ist irgendwie gruselig, roh, brutal, schön, manchmal kitschig. Danke für diese Zusammenstellung und den Upload.

@@BrianBTeman-in2rc I think that was Cy's goal, he was trained as a cryptographer by the USA army, and tried to paint like a child in the dark. Married into a top elite family of Italy and I think would of had access to the Vatican library. he was suppose to be interested in old wooden oars of ships, I personally think that was a cover up for what he was really interested in, which was bloodlines and chimeras, as a lot of murals in the old castles in Italy have them in murals on the walls. Also he would of heard a lot of THE THEY, plans to drop the population of the world. That is why he did the panels The Coronation of Sesostris. Sesostris was a king of Egypt, is an archetype for the antichrist, the first 2 panels are how a child would draw a virus after seeing a picture of the virus on the news. You can try an workout the cryptic meanings of the others, the last one I think is a guillotine blade and a top hat. but you would have to watch the ending of a movie called The White Rose. If I am right this is one of the most important art works ever done

I love this vid, I honestly watch it every other day. Cy Twombly is my all time favourite and I'm so glad there’s such a great slideshow to enjoy his work. Would be amazing if someday you could do an update on this vid as there’s so much more Twombly I’d love to see added. Keep the great work, your channel is a treasure! ❤

Strano si ammirano i pittori figurativi, nei luoghi publici si vedono quelli astratti.

There is a remarkable unity and continuity in the works of this artist, from the very beginning, but I would prefer the sketches and paintings after 1970. Excellent choice of Messiaen
