I am trying this product out (Dino X). One issue is that my urchin became really shocked by the product and looked almost to die at one point. I used only 3ml of this product as a tester. I put some carbon in and pushed a lot of flow around and it seems better today but he dropped all his "collection" from his back. All the rest of my tank seems OK. Just be wary of specifically urchins with this treatment. They seem very sensitive to it.

So good in English. I did use the RTN/STN as a bath (for a several hours with a pump and a heater) for a Specisoa frag and it stopped it (for a while). I've heard very good things about it for Euphyllia. After listening to Claude on ReefBum I decided to send in for an ICP and I was blown away by how bad my parameters are (NO3 tested myself was 3 whilst PO4 0.5 and worse K was 670! I think all my Acropora should have been dead (particularly when my Calcium was 360. Anyhow I have done a few water changes and will probably send in my second one tomorrow. I have no idea how my Potassium got so high - can only be the salt that I can think of. I do have some Cyano but now I am dosing some reef snow and fixing my water so I think that will straighten out. Anyhow these explainers are super good. I have a question about the Soft Protect food - can you only feed it in QT or is it fine in the display?

Wie immer schönes Video, macht sehr viel spaß mit euch. Nach 35 Jahre im Hobby endlich zu euch gefunden LOL ;-) Leute lasst auch gesagt sein ich habe so viel sinnlos in meine Aquarien gekippt, den Wert von einer Eigentumswohnung verbrannt über die Jahre, geht zu Claude lest euch da in Ruhe da ein, macht die ICPs und ihr werdet sehen das macht alles Sinn.

Is this safe for use in a marine tank covered in mats of them, with upside-down jellyfish inhabitants? :-( My jellyfish have zooxanthellae (a kind of dinoflagellate) living on their tentacles. I want to get rid of what is on the sand bed but not the zooxanthellae in a symbiotic relationship with my jellyfish.

Juhu ihr Lieben 🙋🏼‍♂️ Ich habe mir gestern Abend euer neues Video angeguckt und muss mich erstmal bedanken. Sehr informativ! Ich hoffe es sehen noch viele andere Leute welche dann vielleicht auch realisieren das sie mit ihrem unterbesetzten Becken einfach zu viel machen 😁 Eine Frage habe ich aber welche das Video nicht klären konnte. Gibt es eine Faustregel wie viele Korallen pro Liter Wasser eingesetzt werden müssten damit das Gleichgewicht im System zustande kommt? Oder sollte man einfach so lange nachlegen bis man keine Probleme mehr im System hat? Ich habe auf 360l ca 75Korallen geklebt, stabile werte (soweit messbar) aber ein Problem habe ich nie in den Griff bekomme. Die Algenbüschel die stellenweise auf dem Livesand wachsen. Mit der Pinzette leicht entfernt kommen sie aber kurz darauf wieder. Probleme mit Dinos, Byopsis oder ähnlichen habe ich nicht.

Hi, Faustregel nein aber je mehr Fläche besetzt ist um so besser ist es. Schreib uns ne Mail an [e-mail] mit Bildern aus deinem Becken und die letzte ICP . Wir schauen uns das dann gerne mal an

I have used Dino-X twice in my small 125 litre tank. My skimmer couldn't handle the amount of stuff that came out of the water column and went into overdrive. During the night I could sleep for two hours max and then I had to empty another 10 l bucket (changed about 30 litres in one night). It wasn't doable as I didn't have enough salt water readily available. In the meantime it didn't get me to kill my Dinos but it did kill a fish, crabs, snails and shrimp. The second time I had the same experience, even when dosing half of the recommended amount of Dino-X. I was very disappointed and it got to me that maybe this product wasn't developed for small nano tanks!? I never touched it again. Sorry to bring this bad news (this is just my case show lighted here !!!).

@@martijnvanbeek4387 Hi sorry to hear , skimmer take out organic stuff, Dinox is not skimmed out it will be oxidise by bacteria and remove in this way. Dinos can be also toxic and when you have a fast growing species then also Dinox works fast , sometimes a bit to fast for smaller skimmers , so in this case sometimes better to reduce dosing amount to 75% of the recommended dosing

Neee das hilft schon du musst aber halt auch die Bedingungen einstellen wie wir das auch in den Anleitungen beschrieben haben. Letzlich ist das halt wie ne Aspirin , da bringt’s auch nix wenn weiter trinkst ;-)

Hi, hast Du mal Deine Werte gemessen und kannst Du die bitte mal Posten? Caulastrea sind eigentlich knochenhart. Salinität Alkalinität (KH) Nitrat Phosphat Calcium

@@deutschernussknacker9883 mein letztes waren ca.460 mg1360 kh8 po4 0,03 nitrat messe ich nicht wirklich, betreibe mein Becken mit Sangokai und Kalkreaktor. Gebe zusätzlich kalkwasser ins Becken um den PH Wert zu stabilisieren. Daher wohl der erhöhte Ca-Wert Nitrit spielt bei Sangokai eine untergeordnete Rolle. Ich hatte vor drei Wochen 5mg/l. Werde morgen nochmal messen. Messe No3 nur 1xim Monat und ansonsten alle zwei Wochen alles durch.

Achso, degenerieren tut sich nur die furcata, die andere steht wie ne 1, auch allen anderen geht es gut nur das Wachstum könnte eventuell etwas mehr sein, aber es stagniert nicht. Man sieht immer mal wieder das was passiert, Polypen zeigen die Korallen auch. Bin echt etwas ratlos, bzgl. Cyanos und der Furcata
